• We take care of software upgrades and security for you
• You make simple changes yourself & we’re here to answer questions whenever you need help
• We make all the structural/design changes for you & integrates any other software you might need

Do-it-yourself software (e.g., Wix, Squarespace, etc.): price varies, but monthly subscription is less than Jottful

• They take care of software upgrades and security for you
• You make ALL changes yourself & support is provided through documentation (very hard to communicate with a human)

Open-source software (e.g., WordPress): free software platform + hire and pay separately for website hosting and security

• You do all the software upgrades and security yourself (security is a HUGE issue, WordPress websites suffer persistent hacking attempts so you have to constantly upgrade your software)
• You make ALL changes yourself (and the platform is not intuitive for non-website designers) & support is provided through documentation
